Wind Wire: India - Wind station wins aid from Europe

A long-term loan of EUR15.3 million to finance a 26MW wind station has been made to Indian energy company Bhoruka Power Corporation. Germany's state-owned development organisation Deutsche Investitions und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG) has provided EUR8.3 million and French development organisation Proparco - in which DEG holds a 1% stake - has provided the other EUR7 million.
