Scotland utility ScottishPower was last month granted permission to build 25, 600 kW wind turbines in Ireland at Barnsmore in County Donegal. It is the third wind farm in Donegal to gain consent from the County Council. The 15 MW project already has a power purchase contract under Ireland's Alternative Energy Requirement.
