Solar power to meet Sydney green power demand

Electricity retailer EnergyAustralia has announced plans to build a 200 kW photovoltaic power station in the Hunter region north of Sydney -- an area known for both its coal mines and excellent vineyards. The company is building the solar power station after demand for green electricity under its "Pure Energy" programme.
