Rumours that Bonus is in the process of being sold are firmly denied by director Palle Nørgaard. "A month ago I heard a rumour that Vestas was mounting a takeover and 14 days ago it was Micon doing the same. But I can assure you 100% that Bonus is not for sale," he said last month. Bonus was the only Danish company to escape the Californian market collapse without going bankrupt in the mid 1980s. With a profit last year of DKK 52 million and capital of DKK 151 million, Bonus is one of Denmark's most well consolidated wind turbine manufacturers.
