Fuhrländer's French debut
1 December 2008
German turbine manufacturer Fuhrländer broke into the French market this month with the commissioning of 15 of its largest 2.5 MW turbines at Hauteville in the Aisne département of northern France. The project was developed and built by Volkswind France, a subsidiary of the German wind plant operator Volkswind GmbH. Next in line for Volkswind in France is a 27.6 MW project at Val de Noye, also in the Picardie region, which is due for completion next summer. Siemens is providing the turbines.
