Order for 58 MW affirms Vestas' dominance

An order for two projects totalling 58 MW in Greece cements Vestas' role as the country's leading turbine supplier. The company says the 29, 2 MW machines are to be delivered this year, but declines to give further details at the request of the client. Vestas was one of the first manufacturers to enter the Greek market, in 1985, and now employs over 100 people in the country. In June 2008 it reported a total installed capacity in Greece of 504 MW.
