Spain's Ecotècnia signs contract for 16.7 MW wind farm

Spain's Ecotècnia has just signed its first contract for delivery of wind turbines in France a year after opening an office in the country. It will build a 16.7 MW wind farm in the Vienne department of west central France for local electricity producer Sergies SEML. Ecotècnia will also supply the ten 1.67 MW turbines. The planning application will be submitted this month and, all being well, the wind plant will be delivered ready for operation towards the end of the year. Ecotècnia is also hoping to secure contracts for a number of other projects in France.
