A 58% increase in air freight -- with blades for wind turbines making up a good proportion of the increase -- is a major reason for the expansion of Denmark's second largest airport, at Billund in Jutland. The airport has employed 100 new staff this year, bringing the total to 450. LM Glasfiber's export of rotor blades to India has given staff at Billund a busy year, says airport director HE Christensen.
