Enron Wind indicates it is still looking for a buyer
1 February 2001
Gas giant Enron still appears to be looking for a buyer for its wind business. In an internal memo in November explaining the company's reorganisation, Enron states it is "considering a variety of options with regard to ... Enron Wind." Rumours that Danish company Vestas is a possible purchaser have no foundation in fact, assures Vestas boss Johannes Poulsen.
