Wales' newest wind farm enjoys overwhelming public support, says its developer, National Wind Power. The company made its claim after 400 visitors had flocked to the newly commissioned Trysglwyn wind farm on Anglesey in late June to inspect at closer quarters the 14 Bonus turbines. NWP opened its doors to the public to mark the inauguration of the wind farm the previous day by local MP Sir Wyn Roberts. As is the practice at most such events nowadays, the company did not miss the opportunity to canvass public opinion about wind energy. The results from questionnaires completed by just over half of all visitors revealed a strong endorsement for wind development. Eighty per cent expressed approval of Trysglwyn wind farm.
