Big Midlum project attracts investors

Investors were persuaded to inject DEM 24 million of limited liability capital into the Midlum wind station fund within the space of three weeks late last year, reports investment company Bobikiewicz and Partner in Freiburg. The wind farm is made up of 70 Enercon E40 turbines, the most units of any wind station in Germany, the company says. Built last year, the DEM 87 million plant came on-line in the autumn. The DEM 24 million investment in the project was made through independent finance companies and various banks, the company says.
