15 MW ON CRETE

Two construction licences have been granted by the Greek energy ministry for installation of 15 MW of wind farms on Crete. Aeolus is to build a 10 MW project at Chandres in eastern Crete and Iweco a 5 MW plant at Megali Vrisi in the heart of the island. Both projects will use Vestas 500 kW turbines from Denmark.
