Correction on Danish payments
1 May 2001
We misprinted two Euro conversions of Danish payments for wind in our story "Market transition starts at last" (Windpower Monthly, April 2001). The price paid for power from smaller wind turbines, most of them a decade old, will now fall from DKK 0.60/kWh (EUR 0.08/kWh) to DKK 0.43/kWh (EUR 0.058/kWh). For new turbines, the fixed payment is expected to drop to DKK 0.33/kWh (EUR 0.044/kWh), with further income from sale of green certificates.
