Ecotècnia -- part of Spain's giant Mondragón Corporación Cooperativa -- turned over ESP 7800 million in 1999 and expects to reach around ESP 13,500 million this year. The company's strategic plan for 1999-2002 foresees an overall investment of ESP 4120 million, most of which will go towards its objective of tripling its current sales figures to ESP 21,000 million. The company's Antoni Martínez underlines Ecotècnia's increasing activity abroad (Windpower Monthly, December 1999) and expects 20% of total earnings to come from overseas turnkey projects by 2002.
