Also in Norfolk, Next Generation has begun work on installing a single E66 turbine at Blood Hill, adjacent to an existing wind farm of ten Vestas turbines. Vince expects the turbine to be operational by the end of June. Consent for Blood Hill was also won on appeal. Spurred by these planning victories, and the documented popularity of its E66 turbine at the Ecotech Centre at Swaffham, Norfolk, Next Generation intends to press ahead with four more single turbines dotted around the south of the county. These all won NFFO-4 power purchase contracts in 1997 but were put on the back burner while the company concentrated on its flagship project at Swaffham.
