Compendium of Indian renewables projects on sale

A compendium of all renewable energy projects operating in India, plus information on the policy initiatives for renewables in each state, has been compiled by the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBI&P) with the assistance of the Ministry of Non Conventional Energy Sources and the Indian Renewable Development Energy. The report includes wind maps and maps of global solar electric conversion potential, says CBI&P. The information is aimed at meeting the requirements of entrepreneurs, planners, nodal agencies, research and financial institutions and power utilities. The colour report, the Renewable Energy Map 1997, is available from the CBI&P in New Delhi.
