Enel's French arm orders 84 MW

French developer and owner-operator Erelis, owned by Italy's Enel, has ordered 42 Repower 2 MW wind turbines to be delivered to three projects in the Champagne-Ardenne region of north-east France in late 2009. Fourteen machines are destined for a plant at Dampierre in the Haute-Marne département and 15 to Chervey in the nearby Aube. The remaining 13 will go to projects in Brittany or Bourgogne. Although Enel Erelis currently has just 8.1 MW turning in France, at Pleyber-Christ, it reports 88 MW constructing and about 300 MW in development.
