EU wind energy conference on CD-ROM

For the first time, wind energy conference proceedings have appeared on CD-ROM, offered by England's HS Stephens & Associates. The disc includes an author index to the 279 papers presented at the 1996 European Union Wind Energy Conference in Gothenburg, Sweden, and a 15 page keyword search -- from "adaptive control" to "yaw stability." Although the texts cannot be downloaded, single pages can be printed out, offering a compact alternative to the heavy, telephone book sized paper version.
