A NEW KENETECH TURBINE

A new American turbine -- made by Kenetech -- may be on the market by 1997. "Kenetech Windpower will be in the position to put a new Kenetech technology on the market within two years," says executive vice president Joel Canino. He also said Kenetech might consider buying in another technology within the two year framework. Currently, Kenetech is making about 15 Model 33M-VS turbines weekly at its Livermore plant in California.
