Spain's Acciona opened its wind turbine assembly plant in Nantong, China, last month. The EUR 24.6 million facility, a joint venture between Acciona and the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, will produce up to 400 of Acciona's 1.5 MW units a year, bringing the firm's global capacity to 1680 MW.
