Developer J-Power is to consult Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO) about a planned 55 MW wind farm. J-Power wants to build the plant in Fukoshima in north eastern Japan but can only apply for government subsidies if TEPCO agrees to buy the energy generated. It hopes to start construction in 2004 with the plant going online in 2005.
