Switzerland's first wind farm has just been completed on Mont Crosin in the Bernese Jura. Developed by Windkraftwerk Juvent SA of Bern, a joint venture company led by BKW Energie AG, the 1.8 MW project is made up of three Vestas V44 turbines, reports Jakob Vollenweider of the company. He adds that together with some smaller units, installed wind power capacity in Switzerland is now 2 MW.
