German wind developer signs deal to build hydrogen systems driven by wind

Wind developer P&T Technology has signed a framework deal with a division of Siemens Industrial Solutions and Services to build integrated water purification and hydrogen production systems driven by wind power. Under the agreement, marketing and international sales will be the responsibility of both companies. Tourist regions around the Mediterranean Sea are a target market. P&T Technology in Hamburg says it will provide customers with tailored models for financing projects and for setting up owner companies. Technical, commercial and organisational co-ordination will also be its responsibility. The Siemens division, also based in Hamburg, will provide electronic and other components for the plant and be responsible for organising service and maintenance.
