German project developer boosts presence

German wind project developer Ostwind is strengthening its presence in the Czech Republic with a new central office in Prague. Ostwind, which is based in Regensburg, Germany, plans to make its Czech activities a third pillar of business alongside those in Germany and France. It intends to install 100 MW in the country by 2012, a further 90 MW by 2015, and another 100 MW in the longer term.
