Construction begins on 72 MW wind plant in Apulia

Bolzano-based wind developer Fri-El, in partnership with EDF Energies Nouvelles, has begun construction of four wind plant in Sant'Agata di Puglia in the southern region of Apulia. Fri-El's Matteo Longo says the projects, with a combined capacity of 72 MW, are expected to be completed by late 2006. All will use 2 MW turbines supplied by Vestas.
