Little-known wind company Mariah Energy Group is proposing building a wind farm on five acres in Klickitat County in Washington state, according to newspaper reports. In the same area, Kenetech Windpower is proposing a 115 MW project and FloWind Corp and CARES, a consortium of public utility districts, is planning a 25 MW demonstration project for Bonneville Power Administration. Mariah's principal, Michael Kitchen, a seller of small wind turbines and solar systems in Washington state, could not be reached for comment.
