Vestas director Johannes Poulsen refers to the company's 1995 profit margin of DKK 55 million before tax as "unsatisfactory." Profit increased by DKK 7 million and turnover by DKK 600 million to DKK 1.5 billion last year. Late deliveries from suppliers and delayed projects have hit Vestas economically, he says, but the firm has taken steps to ensure a marked improvement this year.
