Sif Group, a manufacturer of monopile foundations and supplier to Denmark's Horns Rev 160 MW offshore station and Sweden's 10 MW Yttre Stengrund plant, has announced plans for a EUR 12 million extension of its manufacturing facility in Roermond. The new wing will be dedicated exclusively to the production of monopiles and transition pieces for offshore wind farms.
