At the top of the export league

Wind turbines have become Denmark's third most important export. Last year only sale of pork (DKK 10 billion) and medicine (DKK 6 billion) exceeded the DKK 3.5 billion earned in foreign currency by the country's manufacturers of wind turbines and their components, reports Danish wind energy magazine, Naturlig Energi. Oil export about equals that of the wind industry, but oil imports amounted to DKK 4.2 billion.
