Denmark is proving that a national economy can grow at the same time as energy consumption falls -- while emissions of CO2 are cut by twice as much. What's more, wind turbines are delivering nearly all of the impressive reductions in carbon dioxide emissions. The news will bring smiles to the faces of the UN's International Panel on Climate Change, who have just released a report saying that the vicious circle of growth and global warming can be broken.
