VILLAGE POWER VENTURE

New World Power Corp of the US has signed a joint venture for a village power project in Canada. The New World Village Power Company has agreed with the town of Fort Severn in Ontario to build, own and operate a 500 kW wind-diesel hybrid power station. The venture hopes to sign a power purchase contract with utility Ontario Hydro. New World Power Canada of Ottawa will manage the system.
