HUSUM IS TO STAGE HUSUM WIND 95

Determined to still stage a major annual wind event in Husum, the new Husumer Wirtschaftsgesellschaft (HWG) has announced that Husum Wind 95 will take place September 13-17 next year and invites reservations for exhibition space. The new trade fair company, supported by five Husum commercial and industrial federations, promises to considerably improve the North Sea Hall for the 1995 exhibition and either to expand and improve on these facilities for 1997 or provide a new purpose-built exhibition building as well as a completely overhauled congress building. The association for the promotion of wind energy, FGW, will look after the three day congress while the wind energy group (WING) within the Schleswig Holstein investment bank will take care of the international presentation of both the trade fair and congress. The previous organisers of the Husum wind energy conference, Husum Messe, decided last May to move their event to the mammoth Hannover Industry Trade Fair, under Energy and Environment Technology. One hall at the Hannover Fair, which runs from April 3-8 in1995, will be reserved for wind energy and other renewables. HWG Fax 04841 81775; Tel 04841 81785.
