Council for Protection of Rural England wants new site guidelines

The powerful Council for the Protection of Rural England says the "rising anxieties about on-shore wind generation require the issuing of new planning guidance to local authorities and a rethink of government subsidies for renewables." The conservation group has 45,000 members and claims to have a strong lobbying presence on green issues in Westminster, Whitehall and Brussels.
