Nordex 2.5 MW are largest turbines now turning in France

Eight Nordex 2.5 MW turbines are now turning in the Bouin wind plant at Vendée in Pays de la Loire on the Atlantic coast. They are the largest wind turbines operating in France. Nordex completed the plant as a turnkey installation for SIIF Energies, the renewables arm of national utility EDF. Nordex will maintain, service and manage the plant for its first five years of operation. Of the nearly 200 MW installed in France, Nordex says it has supplied 88 MW.
