Big turnkey project to begin on crete

Construction of a 27.5 MW turnkey wind station on Crete is scheduled to begin this summer, reports German wind turbine manufacturer Enercon. The company plans to complete the installation of 55, 500 kW E40 machines by spring 1999. The wind station is to be owned by three private operating companies: Aeolian Parks of Achladia, controlling 10 MW, Aeolian Parks of Cria, with 10 MW, and Anemoessa, with 7.5 MW.
