The Danish foreign ministry's overseas aid arm, Danida, has granted DKK 17.3 million ($2.6 million) to Nordtank Energy Group for the supply of six, 300 kW wind turbines to Egypt. The machines will be installed at Hurghada near the Red Sea coast. The project is part of a $30 million Danish aid programme to assist Egypt develop its electricity supply system. As part of this programme, two 30 MW wind farms will be developed.
