Public wind developer and operator Plambeck Neue Energien (PNE) is selling its green electricity trading sector in order to concentrate on its core business -- the use of wind and other renewable energies. After sectioning off the trading business into a new company, Plambeck Energiekonzept, PNE will meet with shareholders this month to decide on the sale of the new firm. The company says it already has binding offers from investors which will "at least" cover the expenses made in building up the trading sector. "This will considerably improve our results," says PNE.
