New World Power of the United States, which has a UK base and an Irish representative, has bought out Nordtank's 87% shareholding in Renewable Energy Ireland Ltd, the owners of Ireland's first wind farm at Belacorick, in Mayo. Nordtank, a Danish wind turbine manufacturer, will continue to provide a maintenance contract on the site as part of a five year programme entered when the 21 turbines were erected.
