With another unit coming online at the Gardunha Wind Park in early July and the completion of its 90 MW Caramulo Wind Park at Abelheira and the 146 MW Pinhal Interior Wind Park, Portugal's Generg Group now operates 300 MW of wind capacity, it says. The 70 MW first phase of Gardunha is due for completion this month, while the 44 MW second phase is expected to come online by the end of June 2008. It will comprise Enercon 2 MW machines, as does Caramulo. Pinhal consists of a mixture of 46 Enercon 2 MW turbines and 18 Vestas 3 MW turbines and is spread across the municipalities of Oleiros, Proença-a-Nova, Sertã and Vila Velha de Ródão. Generg installations in the pipeline, all using the Enercon 2 MW machine, include 28 MW for its Trancoso project in the municipality of Trancoso, 8 MW in Mosqueiros, Guarda, and 2 MW in Perdigão.
