Germany's Repower to supply 28 MW for sites on Honshu Island

Germany's Repower Systems is to supply 19, 1.5 MW turbines to Japan for projects on the island of Honshu. Two of the machines will be supplied this autumn for installation at a site near Akita and the remaining 17 will be shipped in the spring for a site near Hachiryu. Repower's Japanese marketing partner, Meiden, is buying the turbines, but declines to name the price it is paying for them.
