Bearings and gel coat: Britain's Wind Energy Group (WEG) is replacing the pitch bearings on all of its fleet of turbines in Britain after discovering faulty seals on bearings in some machines. In a solution to the problem worked out with the French and German bearings manufacturers, WEG is putting back the bearings with a new design of seal. While the turbines have been out of action, WEG has also taken the opportunity to repair the gel coat finish on a number of blades. Pictured during repairs is Llangwyryfon wind farm.
