Dutch blade manufacturer Polymarin reports it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with JSL Industries for the founding of a joint venture company in India -- Polymarin India -- for the production of rotor blades for wind turbines. "The expertise of both companies will be combined in this new company," reports Polymarin, which describes itself as a specialist in advanced composite constructions. JSL is a subsidiary of Jyoti, a company already supplying generators to the wind industry in India. Polymarin India will be based at Baroda in Gujarat.
