Permit for 50 MW plant in Inner Mongolia

China's Datang International Power Generation has permission from the Development and Reform Commission of Inner Mongolia to construct the 49.5 MW second phase of the Zhuozi Wind Power Farm. The CNY 513.75 million ($67.88 million) project will comprise 24, 2 MW turbines supplied by domestic manufacturer Hunan Hara XEMC Windpower Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Xiangtan Electric Manufacturing Group in Hunan. Electricity from the wind farm will feed into the west Inner Mongolia grid. The 40 MW first phase of Zhuozi, to comprise 32 Suzlon 1.25 MW turbines, started construction last August and the first ten machines have been operating since January.
