Northern States Power Co expected to make a bid

Northern States Power Co was expected to take a plan for proposing 100 MW of wind in Minnesota to state regulators for approval on May 25. A request for proposals would then be issued in early June, NSP's Jim Howard told the Windpower '94 conference in Minnesota last month. The 100 MW would bring Minnesota's wind installation on Buffalo Ridge to 125 MW. The first phase, of 25 MW, was recently installed and put on line with an official ceremony overseen by state Governor Arne Carlson.
