British owned DeWind parts company with UK distributor
Turbine manufacturer DeWind has parted company from its former UK distributor Clarke Energy. "Both companies have decided to end their relationship and go their separate ways," says David Roland from DeWind's new British parent company, FKI Group. Sales and marketing of the German-designed wind turbines will now be conducted from FKI's Loughborough base. A year ago DeWind and Clarke announced big plans to develop gas generation in tandem with wind power in the UK to firm-up the supply of variable wind power. The aim was to get a better deal for wind under Britain's New Energy Trading Arrangements.
