Flovel Tacke, the Indian subsidiary of German Tacke Windtechnik, says it will install nearly 60 MW of wind plant in India by November: in Gujarat, 20.4 MW will be installed at Patelka (Jamnagar District); 1 MW at Navadhra; 600 kW at Dhank and 600 kW at Lamba. In Karnataka 5.4 MW is to be installed at Jogimatti. In Tamil Nadu, 4.2 MW at Poolawadi; 18 MW at Kethanur; and 600 kW at Muppandal. Except at Navadhra, where 250 kW machines will be used, the Tacke 600 kW is the turbine of choice.
