PVO commissions three 1 MW turbines at Oulunsalo

PVO-Innopower Oy, the renewable energy subsidiary of Finland's Pohjolan Voima Oy (PVO), has commissioned three 1 MW turbines at Oulunsalo, in northern Ostrobothnia supplied by Finnish turbine manufacturer WinWind, based at Oulubased. The cost of the project is EUR 4 million. PVO-Innopower is currently constructing a similar sized cluster of turbines at Kristiinankaupunki on Finland's west coast. It will comprise four 2 MW turbines, also from WinWind. Commissioning of the EUR 10 million project is due to take place in April.
