Wind farms devaluate property

Home owners in the north west of England are being warned in the local press that wind farms could bring down the price of their homes. In May the Longridge and Ribble Valley News carried an interview with a local estate agent who believed that any property within a mile of a wind farm would be virtually unsaleable. The newspaper quotes the estate agent as saying: "A wind farm would devaluate any property by between 35 and 50% and make it impossible to sell."
