President George Bush has managed to do wind far more good than harm by pulling the US out of the Kyoto protocol. Never before has world attention been focused so keenly on solutions to global warming. Plans for global trade in greenhouse gas emission credits have continued unabated, with a plethora of companies advising the wind industry that its projects have added value assets. A practical demonstration of how to trade these globally is the Dutch government's creation of emissions credits by building a 60 MW wind plant in Poland.
