INSTALLATION RUSH HITS 50 MW

An end of year rush of installations brought Sweden's wind capacity past 50 MW in December and the tally for the close of 1995 is likely to be close to 60 MW once statistics are released. Included in the rush were eight Wind World 500 kW turbines installed at Näsudden on Gotland, three Vestas 600 kW units in Varberg in Halland and three 250 kW units installed by farmers.
